Virgin Media offers fast internet, but their TV packages are becoming unjustifiably expensive.
To get the "Mega Volt" bundle (which includes Sky Sports and TNT Sports), you are looking at £85+ per month. And that's usually an 18-month contract that increases by RPI + 3.9% every April.
That is over £1,500 over the contract term.
Virgin Media Fiber is excellent. We actually recommend keeping it. But you don't need their TV box.
The Strategy:
Total Savings: £566 in the first year.
"Okay, it's cheaper. But do I get less?"
No. You get more.

This is the biggest reason people switch. On Virgin Media, even if you pay £100/month, you cannot watch the 3pm Saturday Premier League games (e.g., Liverpool vs Bournemouth). It is illegal for them to broadcast it in the UK.
PremLeaguePass has no such restriction. We provide the NBC (USA), DAZN (Spain), and SuperSport (Africa) feeds for these games, often in 4K, with English commentary.
It's not easy. They will fight to keep you.
Virgin Media relies on people being lazy. They bank on you not wanting to set up a new system.
But setting up a Firestick takes 5 minutes. Is 5 minutes of work worth saving £566?
We think so.
